Pack Your Grief Bag: Information and Tools for Grieving Youth

This workshop will be led by staff from Western Reserve Grief Services. It is designed to assist school personnel (teaching and support staff) to recognize and identify grief symptoms. Participants will also see and participate in hands on demonstrations of creative interventions for grieving students. 

Program Objectives:

•Define specific characteristics of child and adolescent grief.
•Identify how grief impacts learning and other elements of school.
•Identify the benefits of using drama/theater activities when addressing grief.
•Describe the benefits of art and mindfulness when treating grief.
